Dark Side of the Moon

Sherrilyn Kenyon

(3/5)

I liked this book.  Ravyn and Susan Michaels are very interesting characters and I enjoyed reading their story.  A former Were Hunter and a former Investigative Reporter makes for quite a combination.

Ravyn is damaged by his past where the woman he loved betrayed him and caused him to lose all he loved most.  As a Dark Hunter he continues to hunt and kill Daimons who seek to subjugate humankind.  Susan was betrayed by a trusted source and her career was destroyed, and she now works for a small newspaper that publishes alien stories.

The pace is fast and the action jam packed.  Ravyn is an awesome fighter and Susan is more then able to protect herself and those she cares about.  There is a good back story about Ravyn’s history and how many women get to buy a cat at the pet store and end up with a hunky naked man in their house.

There is a lot of detail that is covered in the book.  Sherrilyn gives the reader a lot of information about the Squires that has been hinted at in other books and also fleshes out more about the Dark Hunters.  In this book it’s collected and given to the reader nicely packaged.

I enjoy reading the books of the Dark Hunter series and look forward to more to come.

Dark Side of the Moon is enjoyable and I would read it again.

The book can be bought from Amazon or Fishpond in Australia.
